During the move away from certain ideas held by systemic family therapy, Solution Focused and Narrative Therapy were viewed as spear heading this movement. Because of this, Solution Focus and Narrative Therapy were often viewed as the same. Neither Steve DeShazer nor Michael White agreed with this assessment!
