Handout: Introduction to Narrative Therapy Questions ( Stephen Madigan, 2012)

About this Session

Workshop Slides from the TC13, 2016 Still Alive presentation with Helene Grau Kristensen & Lorraine HedtkeStephen Madigan’s VSNT handout represents a partial plot on how to listen and respond to the story being told. The questions outlined originate from his session ‘out takes’. The questions represent an “actioned” relational response to an interactive story. The questions are a telling within a participatory dialogic, and not a linear process of listening (nor do the questions represent a “map” of how to listen). The questions assist in the consideration of how post-structural theory fits within your Narrative Therapy practice.
